Minerva's Tomb starts part of the Rift Knife quest. This is located in Hideout Shores, and the teleport can be found in floor 1 of the depot. In this quest you will be progressing through 3 dimensions and farming 1 item in each. Each item will allow you to spawn a boss, once you have killed all 3 bosses you will have the status of having the Rift Knife and be able to access Darkness Dungeons bosses for additional rewards! You also gain access to secret Darkness Monster Spawns.

From the depot use the Hideout Shores teleport. Head east and then south out of the building. First set of stairs on the left go up and then down. Head West until you cross a bridge over a small path over the river. Then head south until you hit stairs with sand around it. Go up the stairs, go all the way through to the exit, head out to the water and then into the whirlpool.

Work you way to the north west and use the Golden Scorpion

Kill creatures and collect a Ancient Pharaoh's Artifact

Place the Artifact on the altar. A cut scene will play and show you the location of the boss: Mathayus

Once the cutscene plays, it will show you the location of Mathayus. Find and kill him to complete this step. He will do a AOE that most likely will one shot you. Make sure to avoid that. Pull him to a area with no other monsters. You can also kill the monsters around him and then focus the boss.

Use the coral to enter the 2nd dimension

Kill creatures and collect a Ancient Pharaoh's Rod

Place the Ancient Pharaoh's Rod on the alter as done in Step 4

When killing the boss he will teleport at certain health percentages. You will see him move off screen in a certain direction. Follow where he goes and the fight will continue. He will do this multiple times, and since this will put you into situations where you can get blocked you may want to bring a friend.

Use the wall to enter the 3rd dimension

Kill creatures and collect a Ancient Pharaoh's Key

Place the Ancient Pharaoh's Key on the alter as done in Step 4

This boss is quite hard and a blocker is recommended. Make sure to dodge the AOE as it can one shot you and make sure to coordinate with your group.

Loot the rift knife! Upper right exclamation point on the map.

Creatures get stronger and stronger as you progress through the dimensions. Bring friends speeds this up drastically.

If it's hard, move slower, spawns don't force respawn and it may be quite the run to return if you die, so play it safe and go slow

Boss 3 is definitely a bring your friend boss battle.
