• New Darkness Armor and Darkness Weapons that can be created by corrupting Celestial Armor and Olympus Weapons. You cannot skip the tiers, you must progress through all of them to reach Darkness.

• These new additions have an upgrade cap of 50. Level 41 provides a significant bonus and then drops off.

• Aaron at Minerva Isle has become the expert on all matters of the new items. Saying Darkness Shard to him may cause an interesting conversation.

The cost to craft the stones to corrupt your Celestial or Olympus Weapons are as follows:

Darkness Weapon Stone: 150 Darkness Shards, 2500 Archlight Tokens, 200kk Gold.
Darkness Equipment Stone: 50 Darkness Shards, 2500 Archlight Tokens, 200kk Gold.
Darkness Jewelry Stone: 250 Darkness Shards, 2500 Archlight Tokens, 200kk Gold.

• The 5 Olympus bosses will each have its own Darkness version. With Euryale unlocking at P11, and Hydra unlocking at P15.

• To access darkness Olympus, you kill the first Olympus boss and then click on the Darkness spot next to the reward box. Go through the portal and this will you take you to a darkness Olympus. The statues of the Gods have been replaced…

• Players will only have 10 attempts per day on each boss fight. Minimum 4 players and maximum 10 players per instance.

• There will be debuffs upon entering Darkness Olympus (both boss fight and the hunts) if the player is missing equipment.

• Each missing Surging Gem increases damage taken by 10%. They must have a total of 48 Surging Gems to not take any extra damage.

• Each missing Darkness Weapon increases damage taken by 300%.

• Each missing Darkness Set increases damage taken by 100%.

• At 75% Summons a light field you need to walk the boss through. Will randomly teleport one person to the middle. If you fail this mechanic, you fail.

Darkness Lernaean Hydra:

• Each island has a darkness hunt which is unlocked upon killing the Darkness boss.

• There's also a second darkness hunt inside of it, which is unlocked upon killing the Darkness Hydra.

• One of the rewards of killing the Hydra is a task of killing monsters inside the second darkness hunt, which unlocks the next island. Completing all islands tasks will grant the player a special reward. (Players can find the other dimension by using “Dimensional Finder” spell obtained Via OW Quest)

• Make sure to add Darkness Shard 33655 and Dark Matter 33546 to the Auto Loot while hunting darkness.

• To unlock a Dark Gem slot on your equipment, players must use a Dark Key on it. It has a 100% chance to succeed and may be crafted by Aaron.

• Defeating a Darkness Olympus boss grant a Dark Gem, which bonus is random, but tier is related to the boss defeated. Lower the tier, higher the bonus, being the strongest Tier 1 and weakest Tier 5.

• 3 Dark Gems of the same tier and bonus can be fused into one of one tier higher. 3 Dark Gems of the same tier and different bonuses can be fused into one of a different bonus. Dark Gems bonuses are only triggered on PvP and have no use on PvE.

• Darkness Bonuses (the bonuses granted by Dark Gems) can be mimicked off. Only Darkness Weapons and Darkness Set Pieces can hold a Darkness Bonus.

• Darkness Olympus Amulet and Darkness Olympus Ring can each hold one Dark Gem as well.

• Darkness Shards can be found while defeating Darkness creatures

• Make sure to add Darkness Shard 33655 and Dark Matter 33546 to the Auto Loot while hunting darkness.

• You can also receive Darkness Shards from Bernedette in the Guild Hall rarely. It's dependent on level of NPC and RNG.

• Additional you can buy these off the market since they are trade-able.

• Darkness Shards are useful to craft special items on Aaron. These are the items which will corrupt your weapon, armor and jewellery into their Darkness version.

• Darkness Olympus Amulet and Darkness Olympus Ring unlock one bonus every 2 stages, up to 5 bonuses.( 2 4 6 8 10)
